As my eyes capture rain falling, it splashes off the ground. Just for a second my body reacts to saturated sock weighing down my feet. All is silence apart from the rain continuously hitting the umbrella. The air around here smells like wet tar it’s not great, but it's not bad either. Water leaps up to my dry mouth, luckily it raining, if it wasn't my lips would crack and bleed.
